Please take note of the following information:
Our wedding mass will be taking place in the Cathedral of Sarlat situated in the centre of Sarlat-la-Canéda.
After the wedding mass, there will be coaches provided to transport all guests from the Cathedral to the Chateau.
From 11pm onwards, there will be shuttles from the Chateau to take you back to the centre of Sarlat. These will run every hour on the hour from 11pm - 4am.
The last shuttle will depart at 4am.
Travelling from Paris?
Driving
Driving from Paris will take approximately 5-6 hours with tolls. If you’d like to take a route with no tolls, expect a journey of approximately 7-7.5 hours
Trains from Paris
Paris Austerlitz - Souillac

35 min drive from Souillac station to Sarlat-la-Canéda
Paris Montparnasse - Bordeaux St-Jean - Sarlat
Approx. 4 hour journey
For any non-French guests, please do note that you may still need to ‘composter’ your tickets when boarding trains in France. This is a ticket validation system (that is being phased out) but check when boarding trains as otherwise they can throw hefty fines at you! ‘Composter’ a ticket is simply done by inserting the ticket into one of the small yellow machines at the station/on the train).

Direct flights from Luton and London City
Trains run direct from the Gare de Bergerac to Sarlat and take approx. 1 hour.
Bordeaux Airport
Distance: 2 hours 30 mins from Château de Lacoste
Direct flights from London Gatwick
Trains run direct from Bordeaux St Jean to Sarlat and take approx. 2.5 hours.
Toulouse Blagnac
Distance: 2 hour 10 min drive from Château de Lacoste
Flights from Gatwick, Heathrow & Stansted
Only opt for Toulouse if you plan on renting a car.
